British Touring Car Championship
Renowned BTCC team Motorbase Performance are once again powered by mountune for their 2018 championship campaign, this being our 8th consecutive year of involvement with the Kent, UK based team.
At the Autosport Show this year, the team unveiled their new look Ford Focus RS's, which will run a revised version of our infamous 4-cylinder 2-litre Ford EcoBoost engines, derived from the 247bhp road car version.
The RS styling suits the BTCC bodywork so well, the styling is really aggressive and has given the Focus a whole new look. The team have done an excellent job over the winter, it’s not just been a case of updating a few bumpers, a lot of development work has gone into this car and we’re confident that the improvements will show on track." David Bartum - Team Principle

We're very much looking forward to seeing the RS back on the BTCC grid this year and hoping that Motorbase can repeat the championship win achieved in 1990 by Rob Gravett's Sierra RS Cosworth - the last time an RS took the silverware!
