Mondello Park played host to Round 2 of the Parts for Cars Irish Rallycross Championship this weekend, in which mountune-powered Derek Tohill lined the grid.
Following his clean sweep of wins at Round 1 earlier this month, the double FIA European Rallycross Champion started this weekend's race in high spirits, helped with positive Heat results, and a pole position start for both the Supercar and Super Final races.

Ireland’s most successful rallycross driver drove hard, made good lap-times and subsequently took the win in both the Supercar and Super Final, matching his Round 1 victories, and making him the man to beat in this years IRX Championship.
Tohill is again competing in this years FIA European Rallycross Championship and the wins here on his own soil will undoubtedly give him confidence going into EuroRX Belgium in 2 weeks time.
