ERX Round 4 - Lohéac, Bretagne
The French round of the 2018 ERX took place this weekend, held at the Lohéac circuit in Bretange where three mountune-powered Supercars lined the grid.
The first three qualifying sessions saw Irish RallyX leader, Tohill finish in the top 13 however a collision on turn1 in Q4 resulted in a break in his front suspension. Tohill managed to get his Ford Fiesta home in P24 but missed out on a Semi-Final spot.
Qualifying for JC Raceteknik's Froshaug was a mixed bag with a P23, P19, P24 and a P13 finish, unfortunately not earning enough points to proceed.
Teammate Bryntesson did well to earn three top 10 spots during his qualifying sessions and secured himself a spot in Semi-Final 2 where he crossed the line in 3rd and progressed onto the Final.
The reigning Nordic RX Champion did well to hold his position but dropped to P4 where he finished the last race of the day, just missing out on a podium spot. This weekends results sees Bryntesson move up to 4th in the official Championship Points table.
